If he lived the US would have insisted on keeping him silent and put on trial in a Kangaroo Court like they did Saddam. Another one for American Wild West rough justice rather than the rule of law ie lynchings .

Meanwhile the US government has forced NATO troops to carpet bomb Libya for political, strategic and economic reasons to extend the American Empire

This is an anti-war song and is an indictment of how the English used the soldiers from the British Colonies especially as mere cannon fodder-sending them into the bloodiest battles or in the first waves of attacks on the enemy the Turks, the Germans- so the Australians, Canadians, the Irish & Scots were treated as mere pieces of meat for the Wars ongoing meat grinder.

Why are Americans unable to understand that they are not exceptional in this regard. The Serbs when they slaughtered their non-Christian neighbors also insisted and still do that God is on their side.
The terrorists who attacked the US on 9/11 also claimed to have God on their side .
The British, the Dutch, the Germans, the French, the Spaniards when they had their empires also believed that their actions were justified because each of them claimed to have God on their side.
